The first few hours are critical when a loved one goes missing. Once reported, authorities will need to gather as much information as possible from family members to begin their search. The more information the family can provide in the shortest amount of time possible, the better. During this time however, family members are understandably distraught and oftentimes will have difficulty articulating important information in a timely manner.
